The Wings and Wine Society sponsored a 92 or better wine tasting at the home of founder Andy Cummins and his charming and lovely wife Lin.

The first annual wine "guzzling" was attended by more than 40 guests who were instructed to bring two bottles of wine ranked 92 or better on the Wine Spectator scale. The guests enjoyed an evening of great wine, great food and great company.

Cummins remarks that the group consumed 48 bottles of wine: 40 from guests and eight pilfered from his own wine cellar.

"The Wings and Wine Society is off to a great start", says Cummins, "and we all look forward to future events."

The board of directors is pleased with the turn out and the enthusiasm for the organization. "This will never be a big group", says Tim McCaughey, board member. "We want the right people who are into the spirit of what this organization is all about: great bird hunting, great wine, and great people."
